#5026 Septr 8th 1630 Michaell 
In dei nomine amen I Jo: Kaighin being sicke in bodie and whol [torn] 
in mynd, & of pfect memorie god bee praysed, dooe committ 
my soule to allmightie god, and my bodie to Christian buriall. I 
leave to the poore a boule of Maulte & wheate And the rest at 
the Discrecon of my executors. I bequeath to my Daughter 
Katherin one heffer three yeeres ould at the least out of the 
whole, a boule of Mault, a fir of wheate, and foure sheepe. I 
bequeath to my son Wm my pte of the boate. All the rest of my 
goods moveable and unmoveable I leave to my children Wm, Gilbte, 
Robert, Katherin, Ellin, Mallie, and Jony Kaighin to bee equallie 
devided amongst them. And I doe constitute them my exec 
utors I desyre the vin? to see that my children bee not 
wronged. 
The eldest children wth ye wiffe Sworne by the Coure 
to be true unto the children undr yeares:

said soome due to mee from Mallie Christin Viij s from John

& one ewe praysed 2 & xvij s one oxe & one sheep 2 & xvij 
1 sheep & a half prime & ij s & halfe a lambe 1 sheep 
May ye 25th 1640 Memorand yet wee Robt, Mally & Jony Kaighin pte 
of ye execrs of John Kaighin in y parish of St Michaell Doe acknowledge 
by these psents to have full Satisfaction, are Contented and paid 
fro- Wm Kaighin here brother son of ye aforesd John Kaighin in 
the sd parish our whole due & prtion of goods left unto us 
by the will & testament of our father John Kaighin, Deceased, 
& profwe? Dischardge & acquite ye sd Wm Kaighin his 
haires exors Admistrs & assignes forever by these ye Souls 
In witness whereof we have to these psents Subscribed our

The goods were praized by Patr: Cannell William Quaile John 
___ile & Wm Cannell who upon oath have praized & ___ the same 
for the children under yeares of Discrecon & for William Gilbert 
____hrin? & Elin Caighin beinge of lawfull yeeres they have premed their 
___ porcon due unto them of the said goods, as witnesseth their owen 
_____ here as follows: 
I Wm Caghin doe acknowledge my Self to have received the full due 
my childs part, or porcon of goods due unto mee by my fathers last will 
& hereby promise never to clame for any further dues of the said goods 
wittness my hand hereunto Subscribed 
Gilbert Caghin doe lakewise (being of lawfull yeares acknowledge to have 
my childs prat [sic] or porcon of the said goods as wittness my hand 
Kathrin Caghin (lakwise being of lawfull yeeres doe acknowledge my full satisfied 
my childs part of goods due unto mee both by legacie & executorship
