Archdeacon Will 1675A #135 German will of Thomas Gawne, died 22 October 1675: German the 14 of Januarie 75 The last will and testament of Tho: Gawne who departed this life the 22th of October 75 first he committed his soule to God and his body to Christian buriall It: he left to his wife a quarter of the house and garden It: he left to his children viz Tho: and William a quarter of the house and garden It: he left to his son John a sheep for two shillings that was due to him and the rest to be given to the children It: he left his tooles to be praysed to pay the Depts and constituted and ordained his two children viz Tho: and William his true and lawfull exec: of all his goods testes James Younge his son John being at lawfull yeeres is sworne supvisor Wm Crayne jurati of the children under yeeres, & the mother allso is sworne in forme of law The Invent prized by 4 sworne men being household stuff &c amounts to ..... 24s - 0d the debts are to be deducted when proved probatum et solvit 6d The goods in the wife custody, & have given pledges in forme of law Joh: Corlett & Joh Gawne
