Archdeacon Will 1675A #165 Michael will of Mabel Cowley alias Caine, died 8 January 1675/6:  

The last will & Testamt: of Mable Caine who departed 
this life the 8th of January anno prdict: being in perfect memory
first she bequeathed her soul to God & her body to Christian buriall
It: she left to her grandchild Issabell Cowley a linen sheet un=
=sown.   It: she left to her grandchild Jony Cowley a broad goose   
It: she left to John Cowley her son a new white blanket;   It: 
she left 6d legacie to any yt would seek a right in her goods, 
Lastly she constituted & appointed her well beloved husband Willm:  
Cowley her lawfull executor of all ye rest of her goods moveable 
& unmoveable

	notwithstanding yt there is but one witness, the sonn unmaried 
	who should Admynister, have consented to the proveing
