K Michael 13th febr 1675/6 The last will & Testament of John Teare who departed this life ye 18th of January being in perfect memory. first he bequeath ed his soul to God & his body to Christian buriall. Itm: he left to Ann Teare his daughter half of ye crop of corne, all ye whole geares of ye farm, an oxe, a choice maire, and two sheep, provided she his said daughter would therwith be content for all yt was due to her by ye death of her mother otherwise he only left her a sheep in Legacie. Itm: he left to his wife his pt of three goates in case she would bring up ye youngest chil---[edge] eight weeks. Itm: he left to ye said Ann Teare his daughter ye best lad= der at ye house. Lastly he constituted & appointed his three children Jony Ellin, & Issabell Teare his lawfull Executors of all ye rest of his g---[edge] moveable & unmoveable.
