In ye name of God amen The last will and testament of
James Kelley who departed this Life ye 29th of Janauery
1676, sicke in body but pfect in minde & memorie, first he
committed his soule to God & his body to Christian buriall;
Item to ye poore halfe a firlett of oate meale a firlett
of mault & a sheep; It: to his son & heire James all what
he was behinde of his contract bargin wth halfe ye cropp
of corne and all geares belonging to husbandry, It: to his
daughter Ann one cow & one blanket It: to his daughter
Ailes two cowes a bay horse & a maire two blankets one
fledge two barrills two peuter dishes & a cuple of sheepe
It: to his son Willm: a daymoth of hay for two yeares in ye new
meddow, a cupple of goates & a cupple of hoggs, It: to his grand
childe Willm: an ewe hogge, It: to his grandchild Joh: a ewe
lambe, It: he nominated constituted & appointed his three
