The last will and testament of Alice Gell who departed this the 14th 
of Januarie 1676,   first she bequeathed her soule to God and her body 
to Christian buriall,   It: she left to the poore a firlett malt half 
a firlett oate meale and a sheepe,   It: she left to whomesoever would 
be heire halfe the Theme halfe the cropp of corne and all geares 
beloning to the workinge of the land,   It: she left to her daughter 
Margrett a boule of barly,   It: she left to her son William a firlett of 
barly,   It: she left to her son Daniell a firlett barly,   It: she left to 
her daughter Katherine two sheepe,   It: she left to her husband  
her part of the riddinge horse and a quarter of the boate   And constituted 
and ordained her foure children viz John William Daniell and Margrett 
Gell her true and lawdfull exec: of all her goods moveable & unmoveable 
It: further her will was that if any did clame for any debt to give them 
six pence legasie and noe more
