The last will and testament of John Knickle who departed this life 
7th of feb: 1676;    first he bequeathed his soule to God and his body to 
Christian buriall;   It: he left to the poore of the excec: discretion ----[fold]    
he left to his eldest son his part of the Theme and his part of the 
croppe of corne,   It: he left to his wife halfe a cowe,   It: he left 
to his son John a firlett barly    It: he left to his daughter Ellin    
Joney a firlett barly,   It: he left to his daughter Ellin a firlett 
barly   It: he left to Pat: Quirke a firlett barly and all this to ----[fold]    
payd out of the croppe,   And constituted and ordained his foure ch----[fold]    
viz William John Ellin and Joney Knickle her true and lawfull ----[fold]
