Article of marriage dated 4 October 1677: between Mally Fayle in behalf of her son Thomas Kaighin (his father John Kaighin 
is dead) &  Margaret Quayle only dau of Catharine Kermode (her former husband John Keig d.1676, their children John & Joney)

This is affirmed to be ye last will of John Kegg. Imprs: hee comitted his soule to God, & his body to X?ian buryall. Itt: to his wife 3 sheepe. Itt: to his brother & sister, viz: Ewan & Ann Kegg vjd apeece Legacie and nominated them supvisors of hs children. Itt: hee bequeathed unto his sone xxs[20s], and constituted his sd sone and his daughter Executors of all the rest, and in case they both dye, then hee bequeathed all his goods to his wife, & vjd apeece Legacie to his brother & sisters.
