The last will and testament of Jony Kermot als Cottiam 
who departed this life ye 2d of April 1679
First she bequeathed her soule to God & her body to Xtian buriall
Item to Thomas Bodaugh and Wm Stean 6d apeece legasie
Item to ye poor at ye discression of her executers
Lastly she constituted her son John Kermott & Margaret 
Kermott her daughter her true and lawfull executors of 
all her goods and lands to be equally between ym as they 
----ud by ye death and will of their father and if ye abovsd 
executors die wth out ishue yn ye lands to returne to Tho:  
Kermott and if ye sd Tho: Kermot die without issue 
likewise yn it to return free to ye Bodaughs who had ye rest 
of rent
She acknowledged to be indebted to Elin Craine one shilling
