Jurby Aprill ye 17th 1677 I Jane Clerke sicke in body but whole in minde of goods and pfect memory prayse be God for it doe make this my last will and testament irrevocable in manr: and forme following: first I bequath my soule to Almighty God and my body to Christian buriall; Itm: to the poore at ye discrecon of my father; Itm: to my sister Bahie as much cloath as will be a wescott to be given unto her by my executor, Itm: to my brother John Clerke as much linnen as will be a shirt; Itm: to my uncles and Ant on my mothers side a boule of principall corne that was due to me as le= gasie; Itm: I constitute and appoynt my father John Clerke my true and lawfull executor of all the rest of my goods Testes Hu: Clerke juratus Patr: Clerke Patrick Clerk one of the wittnesses being dead, ye other wittness is sworn wth consent of all partyes, and the will therfore proved & approved of The Inventory of the above Jane Clerke disceased is included in ye mothers will as appears upon record
