Archdeacon Wills 1679 note regarding Mr Richard Calcott of the Nunnery, Braddan, having died in about 1668, 
a decree made, and his sister Mrs Margaret (first husband Hugh Cannell, 2nd hsb Major Charles Christian) 
& brother Mr Robert Calcott, who was out of the country in 1668, and now in 1679 he was disabled, only siblings 
Margaret & Robert were administrators of Richard, NOTE, the will decree referred to is not listed in the old Typed Index:


Wheras upon pusall of ye decree of ye Spirll court upon ye death of Mr Rich: Calcott who made in Anno 68 wee find tho his brother Mr Robt Calcott & sister Mrs M. L.[?] were decreed joynt Admrs: and by reason of the sd Mr Robrt: Calcott’s then being out of ye Island his sd sister was at yt time sworn & Admx: and the other Admr: to be sworn wn: it pleased God he hould return, wch we find yet unpformed, wherby the Inventary as supposed remaine unp fect, and the due cours of law not executed. We doe therfor ordr yt in regard of the sd Mr Robt: Calcotts prsent disability to toatell and ---- before the Court that Sr Patrick Thompson officiall doe take his ye sd Mr C oath either in ye pish Church or Chapell or where els he shall think more convenient, to pfect his sd brothers Inventry, to admr: according to due course of law if any goods remains in his hand, and also to give such pledges for ye security of ye office as the law requires, wch having done, Sr: Parr is to return the same to ye Records to be anexed to ye former pceedings for ye sd Mr Calcotts & the Churches discharge
