Arbory Know all men by these presents that I Ann Ff-----[dark & torn] Alias Cloiage, divers good causes moving me thereunto, but more especially out of the naturall affection she did bear to her daughter Ann, did by these presents make over and resigne all her worldly goods movable and unmoveable as a free deed of Git, and did leave five shill: to help to keep her grandson John Scarfe at scooll, and did leave six pence as a leagacie if it be demanded to cutt off her son William Bell and this she did give as a free deed of gift unto her sd daughter Ann the tenth of November or there abouts one thou= sand six hundred eighty and nine before these witnesses present Evan Qualtrough Humph: Sedden 31th January 1695 The above Ewan Qualtrough and Humph: Sedden have deposed that Ann Ffarrant als Cloaige above mencioned did declare the contents of the above writing before them, and that it should stand as her deed of Gift unto her daughter Ann Scarffe, wch was about the 10th of Novr: 1689, as neer as they can remember and that they were debted to bear wittness of the same Before me Jon: Parr [next page] The within Deed of gift being proved before -----[fold] Deemster the same is accepted of for the last -----[fold] of Anne Ffarrant als Cluage, and the daught-----[fold] husband is sworn in Court according to Law acceptum est et solvit 1s The Inventory next Court sub paena 5-----[fold] pledges according to Law John Watterson and Wm: -----[fold]
