Lezayre March ye 18th 1695 This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Mally Curlett who departed this life ye 9th of Jan: last as followeth &c: ffirst she committed her soule to God and her bodie to Christian buriall Item she bequeathed to her son Charles Kewn thirteen pounds that she had in mortgaige in Thomas Cottiers croft, and the said Charles to returne to her executors twentie shillings, Item she bequeathed to her sd son Charles a heifer, Item she bequeathed to her son Silvestor the bigest of ye heifers; Item she bequeathed to her godson Thomas Kewn a hogg; Lastly she constituted and appointed her two sons Silvester and John Kewne joynt executors of all ye rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever; She bequeathed that ye above sd Charles should have a share of ye corn with ye executrs: till May next, The said Charles gave his hand to his mother in our presence that he was fully satisfied in ye abovesd twelve pounds for all debts or demands that was due unto him; and that he would never molest or trouble her executors for any debts whatsoever, was or might be due unto him from them The Executors swarne in witnesses John Kewne} forme of Law John Killip } jurati pbatum et solvit 1s The Inventory in gross amts to the summ of 4£ - 00 - 00 pledges in form of Law Mich: Kewley and Ewan Caly Jan 1st 1696 John Mcylcarane entrs agt ye Exrs of Mally Curlet for ye summe 1£ - 16s - 06 due &c March the 4th 1696 Will: Kinred entrs his claime agt the Exrs: of Mally Curlet for 2£ - 01s - 0d due &c
