This is Affirmed to be the last will and testament
of David Lace, of Duglas, who departed this life
on the 21th of Aprill 1692, first he bequeathed his
soul to Almighty God, and his body to Christian
buriall; It: he left to his sister Jane five pound
legazie, It: to his mother five shilling; It: to
his sister Jony 6d legazie, It: to his sister Ann
six pence legazie; It: to his sister Ester six
penc legazie, It: he left to his sister Jane
a feather bed, It: he constituded and ordained his
brother Mongo Lace his true and Lawful
executor of ye house and other effects
The Exr: being out of the Island, his sis=
ter Jane, being the principall Cretitor
and next Relacon in this Island, is sworn
according to Law
