Lonnan These words are affirm'd to be ye last will & testamt: of Alice Quaill als Knakill who departed this transu- -tory life ye 17th off Decembr: Anno D: 1696, who first committed her soul to God & her body to Xtian buriall. And for the ordering & disposing of her goods, she bequeath'd as follows: In Legacy to her son Richard Quaill twixt sheep & goates one dj: dozen (ie, 3 of each kind. Ittm: in Legacy unto her grandchild Christian Quaill one brown petticoat. Ittm: to her belov- -ed daughter Margtt Quay als Quaill all whatever cloathes she had either linnin & woollen were after shapt in ye house. Ittm: in Legacy to her son Jo: Quaill one cowe, likwise halfe of what soever sheep & goates she had besids unto her aforesd: son Jo: Quaill.
