Archdeacon Will 1696A #38 Andreas will of John Teare, died 29 August 1697:
Summary: wife is dead & made a will, son & heir John, son William (left the looms & gears), son James, son Daniel, 
dau Ann, dau Ellin / Nelly, dau Catharine, dau Joney (married & had a dau), also: William Crennell/Crenilt, supervisor

This is affirmed to be the last will of John Tear who departed this life the 29th of August 1697, being of good an d pfect mind and memory; ffirst he committed his soul to God & body to Xtian buriall; Itm: he left to his son John all his lands houses and crop of corn, and if he dye without lawfull issue then the same to fall to his brother Will: Tear and so from brother to brother; Ittm: he left to his said son all the gears belonging to husbandry and a chist and a pott to remain continually in the house; In consideracon of which he left upon his said son to [next page] bring bring up his youngest child until he came to years of discrecon; Ittm: he left to his children James and Daniell a heiffer betwixt them, to be left with his said son John upon half the increase whilst the--- gives any; Itm he further left to his son John the horses and his best ox, and his said son to payMr Curghey for what he owed him; Itm: he left his said son John a third part of his sheep and the bed whereon he laid with the cloathes. Itm he left to his daughters Anne and Nelly a cow betwixt them with all his house hold stuff except half of the linnen and woollen yarn which he left to his son John; Itm: he left and bequeathed to his sd daughters Anne & Nelly a third part of his sheep; Itm: he left to his son Willm his loomes with all its geares, and in case it be sold his son John to have the first pfer thereof; Itm: to his daughter Kath: a blanket, with 2 sheep & lambs & a mutton; Itm: he declared that he had payd his daughter Jony her mothers part of goods vizt in sheep 13s; Itm: 20s that was in William Crinnills hands, and 20s more since she maried. Also he left her a steer with his blessing; Itm: to the Minr a mutton, To John Cormode 6d; Itm: toWilliam Saile a sheep and lamb, and he to be supervisor of his son Jon: to be paid him out of his son Johns own part of the sheep; Itm: to my grand child Jonies daughter a sheep and lamb; Itm to James Ratliffe a dublet, and to his brotherWilliam a new wastcoat; Itm: he appointed and constituted his son John aforemenconed his lawfull Exr: of all the rest of his goods moveable & unmoveable whatsoever, and he to pay his sisters their part of yr mothers goods, and all other his Debts whatsoever, Itm: Hee left upon his said son to pay a quart of wooll or the value to his Aunt Jony Kneale; Itm: he left to his said son the good ---- and Bake stone; Jo: Cormode said that he left a yard of hurden cloth to his daughter Kath: and said further that the Testator had willed that this should pay the cattle scoreing among them.
