KK German Feb: 2nd 1696/7 In nomine Dei, Amen. I John Kinglish of Peeltown being weak in body but of good & perfect memory do make this my last will & Testamt: in for m& manner following; Imprs: I commit my soul to God & my body to Xtian buriall; Item I leave to my wife Jane my house & garden with croft; and that my wife after her discease shu’d leave to his two daughters Barbary & Mary 10s apiece, providing there were as much goods remaining. Item I leave to my other two daughters Jane & Bessy 6d apiece. Item it is my will that if my wife or any of my children repay to Henry Mcylevorey 43s wch is upon the croft under ye house, that then she or any of them shall have it to themselves after the expiration of 3 years, wch is the end of the mortgage; and if the sd HenryMcylevorey will not be repaid after the sd three years, that then he shall have it from three years to three years, till the sd summ of 43s be paid; Item I owe to Charles Cowle 18d and to Philip Karter 8s.
