This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of Joaney ffargher als Gostmitt 
of the parish of KK Lonnan who departed this Life about the 12th of January 1761, 
being at perfect mind & memory at the making hereof.   
First she committed her soul unto God and her body to Christian burual.    
Item, she left and bequeathed unto her daughter Margt ffargher two wheeles vizt., 
a big one & little one.   Also a little new chest.    
Item, she left six pence Legacy unto any preson that might claime any right or 
tittle to her goods & effects hereafter, debaring them of with six pence apeice.    
Lastly she ordained and appoined her loveing husband William fargher whole & sol 
Executor of all the rest of her goods both movable and immoveable in what kind 
or natue soever.    

Witnesses: Phillip Cowin his mark X, Christian Harrison her mrk X.              

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas 1st June 1761: 
The Execr is sworn in Court in form of Law, and hath given pledges for the 
payment of Debts & Legacies, namely Wm Croghan & Edwd Kewley both of Lonan.
