In the name of God Amen,
I Elinor Tear alias Kissack widdow of Philip Tear late of Doug's being at present 
weak in body but of sound and perfect disposing mind and memory do make this my 
last Will & Testament in manner and form following:

First, I do commend my soul to God & my body to a Christian Burial~~~~

Item  I leave & bequeath to my brother Henry Kissack the sum of three pounds Britsh 
      as a legacy
Item  I leave & bequeath to my Niece Margaret Kelly alias Kissack the sum of three 	
      pounds Britsh  Likewise a feather bed, bed stead, and hangins now in the room 	
      commonly called  Ricd Commishe~~~~~
Item I leave & bequeath to Cathrn Cottier of Ballayemey[?] the sum of one pound one 	
     shilling Britsh as a legacy.
Item  I leave and bequeath to the poor of Doug[las] the sum of two pounds ten shillings 	
      British at the discretion of the Benevolent  Society of Douglas~~~~ ~~~~
         The aforesaid Legacys to be paid immed[iately] after my decease ~~~~ ~   
Item  I leave and bequeath to John and Arnis{?}[Ann's?] Fayle's eldest Daugr Jane Fayle 
      the sum of [lost in crease] pounds Britsh to be paid her at the age of 21 years the  	
      interest of the same to be paid yearly from the time of my dec[lost in crease] and
      in case the afforesaid Jane Faile(sic) should die before she arrive at sd age the 
      said sum of ten pounds with interest that may arise from the same at the rate of 5 	
      percent to be equally divided between her sister or sis[lost in crease].
Item   I leave and bequeath to Catherine Corkill who now lives with me the sum of three 	
       pounds to be paid to her at the age of twenty one years the interest of the same to 
       be paid her yearly at the rate of 5 percent and in case she should die before she 
       arrive at aforesaid age the said sum of three pounds with interest that may arise
       from the same to be paid to her mother or her executors.
Item  I give & devise unto Robt Cannel and Elinor his wife all & singular my right and
      title in & unto my Dweling house in Douglas and where in I now live, with the
      yard & garden thereunto belonging to have and to hold during their natural life 
      and then to fall to their Daugr Elinor and in case Elinor should die underage to fall 
      to her sister Jane.
Item   I leave and bequeath to all who may have a right to claim in this my will one 	
       shilling legacy ~~~~ ~~~~
Lastly  I nominate constitute & appoint Robt Cannell & Elinor Cannell his wife sole 	
executors of all the rest of my goods or effects of what nature or kind soever to be 	
possessed by them I do hereby revoke all other will or wills acknowledging this 	
only to be my last will and testament this July the nineteenth one thousand seven 	
hundred and ninety nine.

The within named Robt Cannell is sworn Exor in Court in form of Law & hath given 
Pledges for payment of debts & legacies viz:  Paul Cowan [Corran?] the Witness &
