Will of John Kewley  1817 German  A50 on film number RB 635

 This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament  of John Kewley of the Parish of 
 KK German being of sound mind and memory at the making hereof which are as follows:
Firstly he committed his soul to Almighty God and his body for Christian burial.
Second he left and bequeathed unto Patrick Kewley his son £0 5 shillings British.
Also he left and bequeathed to Thos. Kelly in trust towards the repairing of 
Greeba's Preaching House.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his daughter Margaret Clark the sum of one 
pound one shilling British.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his daughter Ann Taggart the sum of one pound 
one shilling British.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his daughter Cathrine Corkill  the sum of one 
pound one shilling British.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his son John Kewley  the sum of one pound one 
shilling British.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his daughter Cathrine Corkill  the sum of one 
pound one shilling British.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his son Thos. his Best Great Coat and also 10 
shillings and 6d British.
Also he left and bequeathed to Charles Kewley  10 shillings and 6d British.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his granddaughter  Elinor Cretney one sheep.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his grandson John Cretney one sheep.
Also he left and bequeathed unto his grandson Robert Taggart one quarter of his 
whole flock of sheep provided that sufficient sheep will be first taken out of 
the flock for his funeral
Also he left and bequeathed his grand daughter Ann Cretney one sheep.


Lastly he appointed his daughter Esther Cretney to be whole and sole executor of 
all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable of what nature whatsoever.
Debarring any person or persons that may pretend to have any right to his goods 
and effects with six pence each.

Not withingstanding that this Will has been proved but by one witness yet.
No objections having been offered thereto the Executor is sworn in Court 
in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and Legacies, 
namely John Kelly.
