Will of Ellen Quayle, (nee Clague) wife of John Quayle Reference 71 0106583 Parish of Patrick 1915 This is the last will and testament of me Ellen Quayle of the Eary, East Foxdale in the parish of Patrick, Isle of Man, and widow of the late John Quayle. After all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses are paid I leave and bequeath to my daughter Lydia Quayle the dwelling house and premises nearest to Foxdale in the Terrace together with the garden in the rear thereof for her own use and benefit absolutely. I leave and bequeath to my daughter Alice now residing in America, the middle house in the Terrace with the garden and premises in the rear thereof to have the use, enjoyment and benefit of it for the term and time of her natural life and at her death my will is that the said house garden and premises are to descend to my granddaughter Ivy Quayle (daughter of my said daughter Alice) for her own use and benefit absolutely. I leave and bequeath to my son James Louis Quayle the third house in the Terrace( now in the occupation of Thomas Oates as tenant) with the garden in the rear and also the stables adjoining. I leave and bequeath to my daughter Frances Quayle the house and premises that I now reside in together with the field in the rear thereof and the garden in the front thereof for her own use and benefit absolutely. I leave and bequeath to my two said daughters Lydia and Frances the whole of my household furniture and household effects that I die possessed of in equal shares, share and share alike for their own use. I leave the whole of my l?? st??? Crop and implements to my son James Louis and to my said daughters Lydia and Frances in equal shares, share and share alike with the exception of the Horse Harness, Spring Cart and Farm Cart which I leave to my son James Louis for his own use and benefit. I leave to my daughter Ann Corkill, wife of Thomas Corkill, the sum of five pounds as a legacy. I leave to my granddaughter Ellinor Corkill the sum of of five pounds as a legacy. I leave to my grandson Robert Quayle the sum of five pounds as a legacy. I leave to my granddaughter Ivy Quayle the rent and use of the garden at Ballig St Johns now occupied by my brother John Clague. Until she attains the age of twenty one years and when she attains the age of twenty one years or should she depart this life before she attains that age my will is that the said garden and premises are to descend to my son James Louis Quayle for his own use absolutely.
