Kind permission to reproduce the Brew entries in her excellent databases has been granted by Nora Ramus, of Beaumaris, Victoria, Australia. They are the result of her research into Manx immigration into Victoria, Australia, but has been enhanced on this site by the addition of Brews from England and Ireland, plus several entries from Scotland, the United States and other Australian states.
Her resources include data available on the Victorian CDs Marine Births, Deaths and Marriages, 1853-1920, Pioneer Index, 1836-1888, Federation Index, 1889-1901, Edwardian Index, 1902-1913, and the Victorian Death Index, 1921-1985, amongst others.
This database, which includes over 750 individuals, shows both Brews and their spouses, and covers a period of over 200 years, from a birth in 1773 to a death in 1984.
