of Ballacott in the parish of KK Malew Mris: Margrett Huddleston by name all the portion dowrie or part of goods due and blonging unto  me the said John owed Cath 
my late wife and her executors Administrators of assignes by the death of my Father and mother in law William and Elizh Huddleston and after them by the death of my 
said brother in law Capt Thomas Huddleston as having the goods of my said parents in his custodie or charge, And doe herby acquit discharge exhonorate and cleer the 
sd  Mris: Margrett Huddleston executrix to the said Thomas and her execr:  &  administrators for ever for being any way questioned molested or troubled for the said 
Dowry portion or part of goods or for any other debts or demands any way claimed or demanded by mee or that may be upon this account any way for any portion goods or 
clames whatsoever by any other person or persons in my name or my said deceased wife or executors administrators or assignes their part or behalfe and th----[fold]

KK Duglas the 16th of ----- 1681 Braddan In ye name of God Amen, I John Moore sick in body but whole & pfect in memory praised be God for it, doe make this my last will & Testament in maner as faloweth: first I comitt my soule to al= mighty God my Creator & redeemer & my body to Christian buriall. It: to ye poore a boule of meal to be devided among ye poore of ye pish. It: to his eldest son & heire ye whole cropp of corne & teame of oxen with all other Impliments be= longing ym conditionally yt he pay & give unto his sister Margrett 20£ portion accordingly as his owne father engaged him to pay unto his brothers & sisters & had but halfe ye crop & halfe ye teame in lew thereof. Then in case ye daughter dye under years or without will makeing then ye son is to pay but 10£ of ye foresd 20£ unto his stepmother as legasie & ye other 10£ unto himselfe. It: he bequeathed to his wife Catherin Moore alias Cotter ye rideing horse & too choyce kyd & a doossen of sheep legasie. It: to ye minister a choyce mutton.
