Christian sold for £15 (£10 to be paid to Mr Ferdinando Calcott, £2 to Mr David Murrey senior & £3 to brother Thomas Fairbrother, sold to brother (& uncle) John 
Fairbrother (gunsmith, Dublin) a parcel of houses, backside & gardens (& all standings therein) of 1s 6d rent, with reservation that Ellinor is to enjoy the loft 
and cellar or cellars under it during her life and if John Fairbrother should need the rooms he is to provide sufficient chambers for her to live in

In the name of God Amen; I William Christian of Duglass, beinge weake and infirm of Body but of a good and perfect mind and memory thanks be God doe make this my last Will and Testament in man= =ner and forme followinge: first I bequeath my soule to the hands of Almighty God, trusting is brough to the meritts of my blessed Saviour to have full pardon and remission for all my sinnes and my body to the Eart to be buried in Christian Decency. Item I leave and bequeath to ye poore of Duglass two shill: and six pence to be Distributed at ye Discrecon of Mr Thomas Robinson; Item I leave and bequeath to my two children Jony and Martha, all my parte of ye houses and gardens in Duglass wth all there appurtences; Pro= =vided alwayes that my Deare and Loveinge wife Ellinor Christian als Ffairbrother have ye use of the whole dureinge her naturall life, and in consideracon thereof that she leave and bequeath her parte of the premisses unto our sd children (wch she doth herby give her full and voluntary consent to doe) wholly after her Death; And if in case it pelase God to call for my said children before they are come to Lawfull yeares, and ye without Lawfull Issue, to enjoy the premisses, that then in that case I leave and be= =queath all the said houses and gardens wth their appurtences (whereunto my sd wife hath alsoe given her full consent) wholy unto Henery Parr son unto Parson Cha: Parr of Ballaugh for ever after. Item I leave and bequeath unto my said two children all the rest of my goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, and appoint constitute and ordaine them to be my Lawfull Exrx: of this my sd Will.
