July 1682 The last will and testamt: of John Teare who depted this life the 24th of March 1681, who first comitted his soule to God and body to Christian buriall. Itm: he bequeathed unto his daughter Jane Teare eight pounds sterling and if it pleased God that his wiffe being with child should have a son that he should have the house and Croft he lived in wch his wiffe did consent unto, but if she should be brought to bed wth a woman=child, that the sd child should have the eight pounds left to Jane, and Jane to enjoy the foresd houses and Lands and if God should call for the sd Jane that the Land and houses should re turne to ye next sister, and soe from child to child, and if it would please the Almighty to call for all his children under yeares that then his wiffe should enjoy the sd houses and lands and goods. Itm: to his daughter Margr: six pound. Itm: to Rich: Teare 6s wch was in his owne hands, and his wearing apparrell as legasie, Itm: to Katherine Teare a heffer 2 yeares old at May next. Itm: he constituted and apoynted his wiffe Katherine Teare his true and Lawfull executrix of and ye rest of his goods movable and unmovable.
