Archdeacon Will 1683A #03 Braddan will of Philip Cannell of Douglas, died 11 December 1683:  
Summary: wife [Margaret Taggart] is dead [Aug 1676, her will EpW 1676 Braddan], eldest son Philip (wife Catharine Cannell, son John, dau Christian), son William 
(eldest son Philip,youngest son William), son John, illegitimate son Gilbert Cannell, witnesses: John Vinch & Thomas Teare & Matthew Kelly & William Flexney,      also nephew (through wife) Custall / Christopher Taggart & his sister Jane (recently dead), his parents [Henry Taggart & Ann] are also dead [1667, ‘perished by fire’]     NOTE, per note written by Christopher / Custal Taggart & included with the will of Philip Cannell (which note mentions Philip Cannell, his will ArW 1683A #03 Braddan), Philip appears to have responsiblity for various goods left Christopher when his parents died in 1667 & his sister Jane died in 1680.

Son & dau in law:  ArWills July 1685 Douglas Petition of Catharine Cannell alias Cannell wife of Philip Cannell of Douglas (married 8 years, mother of 3 
children & had a child recently die of smallpox), who was slandered by Mary Kermeen, who said Catharine was the whore of Thomas Kinread.
