Archdeacon Will 1684A #064 Patrick will of Henry Radcliffe of Gordon, died 24 November 1684: 
Summary: wife is alive, has children including an eldest son & heir, dau Elizabeth of age by 1687, brother Samuel Radclife, father Samuel Radcliffe, kinsman 
Samuel Wattleworth, kinsman Thomas Harrison, also: Bishop [Henry]Bridgeman dead & Captn Thomas Woods entered a claim for tithes in the bishop's behalf, Richard 
Harrison dead (by May 1686 [died about 1675, Episcopal Will]) & his executors & the executors of deceased (by May 1686 [died 1676, Episcopal Will]) Sir Thomas 
Harrison entered a claim for £10, Alexander Young entered a claim, Captain Thomas Woods entered a claim, witnesses: Sam Wattleworth & Thomas Harrison & 
(to the codicil) brother Samuel Radcliffe.   

		Patrick Novr: 24th 1684

In the name of god Amen: I Henry Radcliffe of 
Gourdan being sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect me-
morie praised be God doe make this my last will & testamt: 
in manner following.  first I commend my soul to God 
that gave to Christ Jeus my blesses Saviour who redeemed, and to 
the blessed Spirit of God who hath sanctified it; and my body to 
Christian buriall In hopes of a joyfull Resurrection from ye dead to 
be reunited to ye Soul & be made ptaker of yt glorious & eternal 
Inheritance wch is prepared by God ye Father purchased by God ye Son 
& assured to us by God ye Holy Ghost in ye Kingdome of Heaven.  
Itm: I leave to my eldest son & heir half the teame, yt is to say 
myneown part thereof, one quarter part of ye whole crop with all 
my part of all ye geares & Implemts: belonging to husbandrie or work-
ing of the grounds.  Lastly I constitute & appoint all ye rest of my 
children equall & joynt Executrs: of all ye rest of my goods moveable 
and unmoveable whatsoever & desird my brother Sam: Radcliffe and 
my kinsman Sam: Watleworth and 
Thomas Harrison overseers		Hen: Radcliffe mrk X

further he left his part of Mongan in raby to be sett for 
six yeares to pay some debts, & afterwards to returne 
with ye rest of ye Land to his heir

their claime in behalf of ye sd Executrs: agt the

as appeares by Specialtie & craveth ye Law 

Capt: Tho: Woods enters his claime agt ye Executrs of 
ye sd Henry Radcliffe for 25s 4d due to himself and 
for forty shillings more due to Bop: Bridgemans Executrs: 
for tyth rent p anno 1682 and 1683 & craveth ye Law
