Patrick Novr: 24th 1684 In the name of god Amen: I Henry Radcliffe of Gourdan being sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect me- morie praised be God doe make this my last will & testamt: in manner following. first I commend my soul to God that gave to Christ Jeus my blesses Saviour who redeemed, and to the blessed Spirit of God who hath sanctified it; and my body to Christian buriall In hopes of a joyfull Resurrection from ye dead to be reunited to ye Soul & be made ptaker of yt glorious & eternal Inheritance wch is prepared by God ye Father purchased by God ye Son & assured to us by God ye Holy Ghost in ye Kingdome of Heaven. Itm: I leave to my eldest son & heir half the teame, yt is to say myneown part thereof, one quarter part of ye whole crop with all my part of all ye geares & Implemts: belonging to husbandrie or work- ing of the grounds.
