Conchan Aprill 8th 1685 This is affirmed to be the last Will & Testamt: of John Lewn being perfect memory. ffirst he committed his soul into the hands of Allmight God and his body to Christian buriall. Ittm: He left to be distributed among the poor at Hallowtide next a firlett of meal and and a mutton & three halfe firlett of mault. Itt: He bequeathed to his son and Heyre with the full consent of his wife four oxen and two choice horses and the whole cropp of corn and all gears and implements belonging to the plough, Also he left to his sd son and Heyre his halfe of all the rest of the husbandry geares belonging to the farm. Allso he left to his sd son and Heyre a particular colt Legacy. It: he left to his wife ano ther particular colt Legacy. Itt: He left to the minister a lamb and he to come to the house the night he would be lodg'd and the buriall day to meet his buriall at the house.
