Ewan (died before 1701) and Margaret. Brother William, Aelis Brew (Williams wife or Gilbert's daughter?), brother Thomas. All children and Aelis [Brew?} joint 
executors. 12s due to Aelis Brew. £8 Due to him from his father in law William Christian of Bride. Brothers Thomas and William overseers of children, Thomas 
was dead so the son Robert and wife appointed. Witnesses William Christian and Gilbert Skinner.

under age, so Eldest brother Robert is made executor. Pledges  Tho Kneen and Gilbt [Cashin]. [Note found, date unknown, Robert Joughin married Alice Corteen 26 Feb 1722/3:].

Maughold This is affirmed to be ye last will & testament of Jo: Corteen who departed this life ye second of February Anno 1687 [sic]; Imprs: He comitted his soul to God, and his body to Christian buriall; Itm: He proposed to his sone Gilbert whether he would undertake ye care of his aged & decrepid sister Margt: Corteene, & his said sone replyed, yt he had looked to her ere then, & would alsoe for ye future take care of her; upon this resolve he bequeathed to his said sone his part of ye teame & crop of corne, with all implements and husbandry geare, then in his occupation &c Itm: He bequeathed to his son Willm: for yards of gray woollen cloath, and twenty shillings in money Itm: to his g------ Robt: one sheep & yearlinge; Itm: to Jo: Ceanish one yarlinge. Itm: to Alice Brew ye cropt horned Heffer. Itm: to uxor Jo: Kerrish att ye milne a firlad or three half firlads of Barley, as his sone Gilbert would be pleased to give her. Itm: to the witnesses (of this his last will) one mutten betwixt ym; Itm: he said yt ye tyth corne was not paid for; however ye corne was to ye fore for ye purpose.
