KK Arbory ffebr: 5th 1686/7 This is affirmed to be the last will and testamt: of Christian Cubbon (alias) Kelly: who was sound in memory, but sick in body praised be God for the same: made this her last will & Testamt: in manner and fform as ffolloweth Imprs: she committed her soule to God, and her body to X?ian burriall; Ittm: She mention'd and declard a part of a portion due to her daugh= ter Ellin Cubbon to wit 1 cowe, and a qrter of a heiffer, and another qrter of the said heiffer toward her ffunerall charges, Ittm: She mentioned and declard a qrter of another young heiffer to be due to her foresd: daughter Ellin as part still of her portion; Ittm: She did declare that there was nothing due to her son Thom: Cubbon but 1 blanket and 1 sheet, and in consideration thereof she left him her bedcloaths, only the best blanket excepted to the poor; Ittm: She did declare that her son in law Patrick Credgeen was all payd him; Ittm: She did declare that she sold an oxe due to her son Thomas, and he receivd the price of the said oxe being 20s whereupon, she said, she had nothing to doe with the same; Ittm: She left to her son Thomas 1 qrter of the young heiffer, toward the eight shillings; Ittm: she declard there was nothing due to her daughter Margery, whereupon she left her 6d Legacy, and a chest within to her as a corbe; Ittm She orderd a mutton for all hallowtide if her son Thomas was pleasd xxxxx xxxxxx xxxx Ittm: She appointed and ordaind her son in law Patr: Credgeen and her daughter Ellin Cubbon her law= full execr: joyntly of all the rest of her goods moveable & immoveable Note that she left a sheep of her own to the poore at all Hallowtide, and if her son Thomas would give a mutton instead of the same he was to take the sheep in Lieu of the same witnesses Robt: Cubbon X} John Clark X} jurat The Executrs: at age are sworne in Court according to Law pbatum est et solvit 10d The inventory of the above Testatrix taken and prizd by 4 sworn men to wit Robt: Cubbon, John Clark, Wm: Crellin and John Cubbon delby amounts to the summe of ........................ 02£ - 00 - 00 whereof to be deducted out concerning her daughter Ellinr portion, the prizment of the cowe & part of the 2 heiffers wch came to 1£ - 06 - 00 The goods in ye Exrs: hands who have given pledges according to Law Rich: Qu----- & Robt: Cubon [next page] Novr: 15th 1687 Patr: Credeene enters his claime agt ye Executr: of Xtian Kelly for ye half of all the goods yt sh was possessed of at her death and an heiffer of two years old all due to him by contract as may appeare & craveth the Law Jan: 6th 1687 Tho: Cubon enters his claim agt: ye Executrs: of his mother Xtian Cubon als Kelly for ye keeping of an heiffer 8s 10d 1/2 & for ye benefitt of ye calf & ---- of a cow, and the ---- ---- due to him by his marriage contract & for 5d he ---edd in drinke for her in her sickness June 7th 1688 The sd: Tho: Cubon aforesd enters his claime agt: ye Exrs: of his mother for 8s unpd of a piece of an xxxx his Moth: sold of him, & for 6d ye s----- of an heiffer & f----- all due debt, & craveth ye Law
