Att a Court holden Duglass Chappell the 16th of June 1687 Mr Ffrancis Mitchelburne departed this life about the 15th of October last intestate, whereof the Court having intelligence hath Decreed his brother Mr Timothie Mitchel= burne Admstr: according to Law but ye sd Mr Timothie Mitchelburne having fur---nd eord[?] & given up the Administra= tion of his brothers goods to Mrs Isabella Mitchelburne the re= lict of ye foresd Mr Ffrancis Mitchelburne, in ye face of the Court; & Mr Sam: Watleworth having declared that when he asked ye sd Mr Ffrancis Mitchelburne about two daies be= for he died, how he would dispose of his goods, Mr Ffrancis Mitchelburne asnwered, what I have is already settled on my wife, to whom I give them. Whereupon the Court hath accordinly decreed the foresd Mrs Issabell Mitchelburne sole Admstr: to her foresd husband, who is hereby empowered to receive all goods chattles effects & Credits belonging & by law due to ye foresd Mr Ffrancis Michelburne, & a true Inventory to returne to ye Records when required, to wch end she hath given pledges Mr Timothie Mitchelburne & Mat: Travis and hath taken her oath according to Law note yt Mr: Timothie Mitchelburne has reserved his title & Interest to what is due to him from his brother notwithstanding his foresd resignation Salvo tamen vinciug suo jure Decretum est et solvit 2s 6d
