Archdeacon Will 1687A #32 Andreas will of John Kelly, died 7 March 1686/7:  
Summary: wife is not mentioned, underage son to be raised by Philip Brew (who refused), overseers: James Radcliffe & John Teare; also: Isabel Stephen/Steane, 
John Skinner, witnesses: Philip Brew & James Quirk, pledges: William Radcliffe & Philip Brew, NOTE, after his son died, then half the land was to go to James 
Radcliffe & the other half to the child's mother's relations if they can prove their relationship.
?Self & wife:  Andreas parish register:  John Kelley married Isabel Kneale on  16 May 1678  Andreas.
?Sister in law & her husband:  Andreas parish register:  John Teare married Joney Kneale on 9 Dec 1673 Andreas.

18th of March Jon: Christian Official Andreas 1686 This is affirmed to be ye last will of Jon: Kelly who deceased the 7th of March 1686: 1st That being as pfect memory he comm-----[dark] his soul to God & body to Xtian buriall. It: he left all his goods to his onely child, and they to bestoweth towards his bring up & mantainance and left his sd child to ye tuition of Philip Brew who was to have his lands for takeing care of him till he came to 21 years of age. also he left James Rattliff & Jon: Tear overseer of the sd child, and if they was at ye time afforesd that his sd child would be fitt & capable to receive his own, that it should be then given to him, if not that the sd Philip Brew was to have the benefitt of the Land for takeing the charge of the sd child dureing his life, and this upon condicon that the sd Brew did take care of him at ye discretion of the sd overseers. also he left that after the boy decease the lands shud fall the one half to James Rattliff, & the other half to ye relacons on ye mothrs: side that could be proved to be next of kin. also he left that the house whud be kept in repair by whom soever had the land, and that the cropp of corn shud goe along & descent wth the--- and to ye wittnesses & overseers 6d a piece, & to Issab: Stean a pottle of barly if so much wold be remaining after seeding. It: yt he owed Jon: Skiner 3d Testes Philip Brew } James Quirk } jurati The overseers sworn in form of law The above Philip Brew haveing refused to stand to ye charge of the above child, the same is therfore commited to ye charge the overseers vizt: James Ratlif & Jon: Tear who have accepted they are to have the benefitt of ye will & land to yt end & have given pledges Wm Rattliff & Philip Brew Probatum est et solvit The Inventory given in by the overseers comes besides the debts to 9s - 8d Octr: 4th 1687 The overseers vizt James Ratcliffe and Jon: Tear came this day and have declared, yt the ----d Inventory of 9s 8d was all rep------ laid out on ye above--- ---- before she died according to ye will & since upon his funerall ----- their own charge
