Archdeacon Will 1687A #34 Andreas will of Captain John Lace of Ballavoddan, died 9 February 1686/7: 
Summary: wife [Margery Craine] is not mentioned [her will ArW 1675A #010 Andreas], son Daniel [born about 1657, married to Joney (Kaighin)], dau Alice [married 
to William Sayle by 1691], son in law John Moore (married to [?Ellin] Lace, has a little boy), also: Richard Lawson, Daniel Christian, witness: John Curghey.

ArW 1687A #34 Andreas], son Daniel (married to Joney xxxx, left the crop & house etc), dau Alice (left £4, married to William Sayle by 1691), dau Ellin/Nelly, 
son Thomas, witnesses: Robert Kelly & Daniel Cowin, pledges: James Radcliffe & Daniel Lace.
Self & son &c: Old Andreas sales, bundle 2, #28: date 11 April 1682: John Lace of Ballavoddan & son & heir 
Daniel Lace sold farmland to Michael Lace who was entered for it in 1682.
son & his wife: Old Andreas sales, bundle 1, #64: date 3 February 1689/90: Daniel Lace of Ballavoddan & 
wife Joney Kaighin sold farmland to John Moore who was entered for it in 1689/90.
Self & wife &c: IOM FHS MI, Andreas Old Yard: Herein lyeth the body of Margery Crayne, who departed this life the 12 of April in anno do 1675. 1686, John Lace 
died. O Captn Lace too soone extinct by death with thy dear wife art buried here beneath. Joney ye wife of Danl Lace Buried March 25th, 1716, aged 49 years. 
Danl Lace buried Decr 7th, 1736, aged 79 years. Captn. John Lace buried the 4th of May 1753, aged 67.

Son: Michael parish register: Daniel Lace married Joney Kaighin on 11 November 1684 in Michael.

or Watterson, Thomas Craine, Catharine Christian alias Moore & children were left legacies by Alice, witnesses & pledges: Charles Lace & John Teare.

   #47 Andreas), son Andrew, son John Lace is married, also: Ellin Christian, witnesses: Catharine Corlett & Christian Lace, pledges: John Lace & William Sayle.

granddau Alice Curghey; dau Esther [married on 24 Dec 1719 Andreas to Richard Brew, they have a daughter); grandson William Sayle & granddau Mary Sayle; dau in law 
Catharine Sayle alias xxxx; dau Jane, brother in law Philip Sayle.

Andreas The last will and Testamt: of John Lace who departed this life about the 9th of February 1686/7, first he committed his soul unto God and his body to Christian Buriall; Itm: he acknowledged that what goods he had were already for the most part disposed of to his children in Contract Bargaines and that little that remained was in the hands & Custody of his son Daniell; Itm: he acknowledged that he had given a particular account to his son Dan: of what Debs he owed and to whom, and that he had taken upon hin to defray and discharge the same out of his goods; Itm: he left and bequeath unto his daughter Alice Lace the mare if there were so much remaining after ye Debts. Itm: he declared that there was mony behind with him of the pishonrs: for ab---- silver for many years paye all which wth the dues of this year he left betwixt his son Dan and his son in law John Moor. He left upon his son Dan: to pay 20s to John Lace, or otherwise to deliver him a Heiffer that was already allotted him. Itm: he declared that Richard Lawson owed him 20 bowles of corn, for which he had received nothing save only one oxe, worth about 24 shillings, and named Dan: Xtian as witness thereof. Itm: he left a lamb to John Mores little boy Testes John Curghey
