In the name of God amen, I Jaine Christian als Moore
being sick in body but of pfect mind & memorie doe make and
ordein this to be my last will & testament in maner & forme as
ffolloweth, ffirst I bequeath my soule to God, & my body to
Christian buriall; Itt: I bequeath to ye poore of ye towne of Duglas
five shillings Legasie; Itt: I bequeat to my stepmother Issabell
Moore als Ffargher my best sarge gound and as much blew
cloath wch is unmade now in ye house as will make her a petticoat;
Itt: I leave to my sister in law Margrett Moore my best sarge petticoat
and best red petticoate wth as much coulored cloath wch is in ye house as
will make her a wastcoate; Itt: I leave to my mother in law Issabell
Christian my new sarge hood and my best suite of wearing linnen
wth my best linnen apron & a greene sarg apron; I leave to every
one of my brothers & sisters by my ffather six pence a peice
Legasie my abovesd sister Margrett only excepted; Itt: I leave to
my two sons by Robt: Coultrie viz: Robt: & John six pence apeice

Christian twentie shillings apeice Legasie and it is agreed
upon wth the mutuall consent of my self & my sd husband
that after his dicease, if the sd two children servive
him, that our son John Christian shall have the dwelling
house where in Sr Robt: Kenedy lately lives and our sd daughter
Jaine the loft with all the houseing one the North Side of the
sd dwelling house, and in case of Mortallity in one of our
children before my husband then the serviveing child is to
injoy the whole houses after the death of my husband, and in
case of mortallity in both the children before theire ffather
then the whole houses to be & remain at the free dispose
of my sd deare husband to whose care & tuition I leave my
sd children; Itt: I leave to my two uncles Thos: & John Brew
or to any other of my relations one my mothers side who
my meanes of conzanguinity may by law clayme any pte
to a pte of my goods six pence a peice Legasie and for all
the rest of my goods chattles & cattles I leave & bequeath to my
deare husband not doubting of his care in the education of
our abovesd two children I constitute my sd husband my
true & lawfull executor of this my last will & testament
