The last will and testamt: of Tho: Cannell who departed this 
liffe the 18th of November 1688;  ffirst hee bequeathed his 
soule to God and his bodie to Christian buriall;  Itm: hee 
left to his wiffe Margrett Cannell als Cowley three sheep Legasie;   
Itm: hee maid mencon of debts due from himself and his 
wiffe viz: To James Moore in Duglas twelve shillings;  
To Wm Ffayle four shillings six pence;   To Mr Henry 
Norris two shillings six pence,    To the wiffe to Wm Cannell 
in Ballaugh four pence;   Itm: hee left that four pounds 
of his porcon in the hands of his father in law John 
Cowley and apoynted the same to be paid to his Executors;   
Itm: hee constituted and appoynted his two children Bahee and
John Cannell his true and lawfull Executors of all the 
rest of his goods moveable and unmoveable  And left the 
tuition of the sd youngest child Jo: Cannell and his pporcon 
of the goods to the Costodie of his father John Cannell;   
And alsoe nominated the sd John Cannell his father, John 
Cannell son of Phill:, Hugh Shimin and Jo: Cowley 
Supvissors of his children;     Itm: he left his Bible to Jo: Cannell

The Inventory of the goods of Tho: Cannell deceased taken
