Andreas This is affirmed to be the last Will of Margt: Skinnr: als Quaile who departed this life abt the 18th of Decembr 1699 being in Good and perfect mind & memory, ffirst she commited her soul to God and body to Xtian buriall; Itm: she left to her daughter Jony Skinner her part of the Land, and a red petty coat and a small (or lint) wheel, and she to pay fourty shills: unto her younger sister Nelli Skinner. Itm: she left to her sister Averick Quaile a brown pettycoat, a coife, pinner, and kerchief of Manks cloth; Itm: she left to her sister Nelly her best wastcoat her best pair of bodies, a coife, pinner and kerchief of Manks lin nen cloth; Itm: she left to her brother John Quaile so much of kear cloth as would be a pair of breeches; Itm: to her sister in law her 2d red pettycoat Nelly Skinner her 2d red pettycoat and a kerchief of nin hundred Linnen cloth, and a coife & pinner of English cloth; Itm: she left to her husband Gilbert Skinner all the hous-hold stuff that was in the dwelling house, and 2 kerchieffs; Itm: she left to her said husband the tuition of her children and their goods; Itm: she left to her said husband the quarter of the crop that was due to her now in her possession; Itm: she left to her said husband her part of all the lands and goods if the children dyed under age, and did cut of all pretendors to any part of the said lands & goods if her children dyed under age with six pence legacy; Itm: she left her part of a steer of 4 years old and her part of a colt to pay the Debts; Itm: she left to her daughter Nelly the woollen wheel and a chist, and all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, William Quay one of the witnesses sayes that she left a hood to her sister in law Nelly Skinner, Itm: to the witnesses of her will 6d apiece Legacy The Exrs: being under age and the next kinn on the mothers side not appearing the husband is therefore sworn in Court witnesses in form of Law William Clerk} probatum est & solvit 1s William Quay} jurati pledges in form of Law the witnesses of the will [next page] The Inventory of Margt Quayle praized by four sworn men (vizt) Will Waterson, Jo: Saile, Jo: Kinley & Will Clark is as follows her part of movevable goods praized to ..... 1 - 4 - 6 unmoveable goods to ........................ 1 - 0 - 8 See ye pledges in the Will
