Archdeacon Will 1699A #33 Ballaugh will of Mary Moore alias Killip of Ballatore/Ballathoar, died 8 February 1699/1700:
Summary: husband Gilbert Moore [remarried Catharine Shimmin, his will 1722A #21 Ballaugh], no children, executors (who live with Mary & Gilbert): [half]sister
Bahie (of age, married to Charles Shimmin) & nephew John Killip (of age) & nephew William Killip (underage, of age by 1719), niece Ellin Woods [mother Ellin Woods
als Killip ArW 1693A #17 Ballaugh], relative? Nicholas Killip, supervisor (relative?) Joney Killip, Ellin Quayle, Gilbert Caine's wife, Philip Kewish wife [?brother
of Margaret Killip alias Kewish, he married Ellinor Kaighin in 1694] & dau, [sister in law] widow [Margaret] Killip [als Kewish] & her dau Jane Killip & dau Ann
Killip, niece? Catharine Killip, nephew? Thomas Killip, Catharine Crebbin, witnesses: Michael Cross & William Killip, NOTE, It appears that, when Mary's brother
John died in 1697/8, she & her husband moved into the house (or maybe they all lived together previously) and took care of the children & farm. When Gilbert
remarried, he moved to another farm, Glendhoo just to the south, with his new wife, leaving 'widow Killip' (John's wife) with the children & farm of Ballathoar.
