Peel Town: 1738 This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Jon Quirk of Peeltown who departed this life ye 4th of May 1738. Being in perfect mind and memory at ye making thereof first he committed his soul to almighty God and his Body to Christian Burial. It. he left to his son Wm. Quirk two shillings Legacy It. he left to his daughter Christian Clark two shillings legacy, It. he left and appointed that his aforesaid son Wm. Quirk should have his part of ye house and garden after the death of his mother Joney, if it were free from Debts. It. he left to ye witnesses of ye Will Six pence apiece. Lastly he appointed and left his loving wife Joney sole executrix of all the right of his goods, movable and immovable.
