William Kewish Senr. Departed this life on or abt.
The 23rd Day of Decr. last past Intestate - The Court
upon intelligence thereof hath Decreed his son Thos.
Kewish sole adminr. of all his goods and Chattles
moveable or immovable whatsoever_Wm. & Chas. Kewish
his other children having been provided for by marriage
Portion or Settlement – said Thos. Is thereupon sworn
to pay the Debts of the Intestate so far as the Goods
will extend & the Law shall bind & hath given pledges
in form of Law, namely his brothers Wm. & Chas.

Know all men by those present that I Thos.
Kewish Executor of my father Wm. Kewish of the parish
of Ballaugh Lately decd. and Wm Kewish brother of Siad
Thos Kewish having agreed in the Decd. Goods and Effects -
the said Thos. The Extr. Do by those presents holing(?) wish asign
and give up all his right and property that he now hath
or herafter may have in his said fathers Goods unto his
forsd. brother Wm. Kewish to his sd. brother Wm Kewish
paying in consideration thereof the intrs sum of one pound
nine shillings and five pence Manks Currency, when -
required or Defined to the Sd. Thos Kewish hereby informing
for his own proper use the big oak chest a round table a -
coverlaid and all his S. Decd. fathers apparel and this & stand
for our agreement in the promises for the future and for
faithful performance hereof. I the Sd. Thos. Kewish as
also I the Sd. Wm. Kewish Do bind and oblige ourselves the
either to the other in penalty of ten pounds Sterling to
abide by the agreement. As Witness our names and mks.
