In the name of God amen.
I Daniel Stephen of Glen Dhoo in the
parish of Ballaugh calling to mind the
uncertainty if this life do proceed make
and publish this my last Will and 
Testement in manner following.
First I commend my Soul to God and 
my body to a Christian Burial.
Secondly. I leave and bequeath unto my 
Nephews and Nieces the sons and
daughters of William Brew and my 
sister Margaret the sum of one shilling
each as legacy.
Thirdly and lastly. I leave and bequest
unto Ann Stephen who now resides with 
me and who is my illegitimate Daughter
by Eleanor Brew All and Singular that
parcel of Intack Land situate in the
said parish of Ballaugh known as part
of Close E Callow and which I
purchased form the late John Craine
of Broughjaig Mooar and I further
nominate constitute ordain and
appoint my said illegitimate 
daughter Ann Stephen my whole 
and sole executrix and residuary 
Legatee of all and singular the rest
and remainder of my Good, Chattles,
Invoices, Cash, Credits and Effects
of whatsoever kind, nature or 
description whatsoever or wheresoever
and I hearby revoke all and every
other Will or Wills made by me

of the said Court and Division.
The humble petition of George
Wilfred Callister of Johanesburg,
Transvaal, South Africa, and
Maria Callister his wife of the 
same place, (Postal address P.O. Box
6521, Johannesburg, Transvaal,
South Africa)
Sheweth
That Daniel Stephen, late of Glen Dhoo in
the parish of Ballaugh, but now deceased, died
on the 28th day of February1889, having first
duly made and published his Last Will and 
Testament dated 7th day of April 1879,
whereof he appointed his illegitimate daughter
Ann Stephen of Ballaugh aforesaid sole
executrix, who at a Court holden at Peel on the
13th day of May 1889 proved the said Will and
obtained Probate thereof.
That the said Ann Stephen late of Glendhoo
in the said parish of Ballaugh, spinster, but 
now deceased, died on the 10th day of March 1901
having first made her Last Will and Testament 
dated the 25th day of September 1890, whereof
she appointed Maria Daugherty (her friend)
sole executrix who at a court holden at Ramsey

on the 25th day of March 1901, proved the said 
will of the said Ann Stephen and obtained
Probate thereof.
That the said Maria Daugherty who is now your
Petitioner the said Maria Callister intermarried
with the said George Wilfred Callister on the
day of     19
That your Petitioners are desirous that Letters
of Administration de bonis non of the estate of the said Daniel
Stephen, deceased, with his said will annexed
may be granted to the said George Wilfred Callister

Wherefore your petitioners
humbly pray a hearing
hereof and that your Honour
may may be pleased to grant
letters of Administration
de bonis non of the estate of
the said Daniel Stephen
deceased, to your Petitioners
the said George Wilfred
Callister and such other
and further relief as is meet
in the premises
And Petrs. Will pray &c.

Ordered that this Petition do come on to be
heard before me at a Court to be holden at
Kirk Michael on the 17th day of July 1911
