It is extracted from LDS film no.149 which shows the notes of Philip Gossle, dating from 1921-22, who listed Brews which appear in indexes to admon bonds in Clonfert, Ardfert, Killala, Limerick, Cashel & Emly, Killaloe, and Tuam, County Clare. Admon Bond for Arthur Brew, Killaloe, 1758

A bond entered into by Ann Brew otherwise Lucas of Killeraigh, Co. Clare, Widow, John Lucas of Drumcairn, Gent, and William Hunt, Apothecary, 26th Jan. 1758, to administer the goods of Arthur Brew, late of Killeraigh, Co. Clare, Gent, deceased husband of the above Ann Brew.

Admon Bond for Tomkins Brew, 1756

A bond entered into by Jane Brew otherwise Chartres of Dunmore, Co. Clare, Widow, John Chartres, Clonderala [Clonderlaw] in said County, Gent, and Henry Allan of Killaloe, Esq., 27th Nov. 1756 to administer the estate of Tomkins Brew, late of Dunmore, Co. Clare, Gent, deceased husband of the above Mrs. Jane Brew.

[A will also exists for John Chartres of Clonderlaw dated 20 June 1756, proved at Killaloe 22 January 1767, in which there is a legacy to his "grandson Chartres Brew"]
