Welcome to Mannincloud, a source of information on some things Manx, primarily wills but also single name studies and Manx traditional music in ABC format. The latest significant changes are given below

Due to rising costs (for a deteriorating performance) I have taken the decision to close the Mannincloud website from the end of January 2025.

The contents are being transferred to the Isle of Man Family History Society website, where for they will be available to society members in due course.

Membership of the IOMFHS is just £14 per year and in addition to access to a wide range of resources you receive a journal four times per year. Joining instructions are available here.

Many thanks to the numerous contributors who have supported the site over the past 16 years.

29 April 2024 The 'William Killey Flutebook' (as printed) has been uploaded to the music section.
14 March 2024 A number of broken links in the wills section have been fixed.
10 December 2023 The missing page of Cleator burials has been restored.
