The following information has been obtained from Defense Personnel Executive of the Department of Defense in Canberra, ACT, Australia, 2600, and shows the names, numbers, dates and places of birth of Brews who have served in the Royal Australian Navy (R.A.N.) or the Royal Australian Navy Reserve (R.A.N.R.) between 1914-1960. 

The ratings information is from the D.S.C.M. Office (Director of Sailors' Career Management) and those of the officers from the D.N.O.P. Office (Directorate of Naval Officers' Postings). Many of their records are on microfiche as the originals are now held by the National Archives of Australia.  Further information on each serviceman can be obtained through the database Brew Files held by the National Archives of Australia or directly through the website of the National Archives.
